Is a deeper pose "better"?

Quick question: Which one of these will help you reach enlightenment quicker?

These. Are. All. Camel. Pose.

One is not “better” than the other. The purpose of yoga is not to strive for a “deeper” or “better” pose.

The first variation is going to be a heck of a lot “better” if you are approaching it with a mindfulness of sensations, of length in your front body and a stable lower back, if you are

b r e a t h i n g, if you are present. Who cares if your spine is flexible enough to do a deep backend if you are not doing so with a mindful awareness.

Be mindful.

Be present.

Remember it’s not about the shapes.
