Yin for Neck, Shoulders & Upper Back (35 min)
A floor-based yin yoga class, incorporating a few postures held for longer periods (from 3-5 mins each), with a focus on releasing tension in your neck, shoulders and upper back. Working with mindfulness of sensations in the body, and using the breath as your anchor. Suitable for all levels. Hope you enjoy!
Props - a bolster/pillow, and a blanket/towel.
If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day.
